So I have finally installed the manual Superwinch hubs on my 89 Montero,"The Bus", to take care of my ôwheel lockö light in the dashboard. Ok, fine then later on comes my ôAT Tempö light which scared me at first. But since the light turned on as soon as I turned on the bus in the cold southwest morning, I knew it could not be overheating that early in the commute. Suddenly one day the ôAT Tempö turned off and stayed off. So I went and had the transmission fluid taken out and serviced the transmission. There seemed to be nothing wrong with the transmission fluid other than it was black. About 3000 or so miles ago the ôMaintenance Requiredö light comes on and has not turned off. (My bus has 153K miles on it) I know it is mileage dependent and blah blah blah by Mitsubishi.

Yes, my question is how do I turn of the light with out going to the dealer? If worse comes to worse is it possible to remove the light bulb from inside the dashboard and how complicated will that be?
