SORRY for the delayed reply. yes the axels are the same ie DA 30 or 35 for some 2.5 or 4.0. I was under the impression (and it sound like I may be wrong.. if I am please let me know ) That the added torque from the to the 4.0 (using stock T case for 2.5L) will "pop" the gears (ring and P and spiders). Is that true, (my info comes Via a local shop here in NY,, maybe he just shewed me out of his shop because he didn't want the work?
