Looking good so far. The only thing on that I would worry about is the lack of transition on the sides of the bumper as they curve forward and terminate. I can't tell exactly how far out from the body they stick from the pics. I imagine I would probably get it caught on a tree or something like that.

You may have more room to play with in Texas, but new England trails are pretty narrow at times.

Are you going to do something different for a hi-lift mount when you build a tire carrier?
