Hey Chris,
Bumper is looking most excellent! Question: are you able to bolt the bumper to the face of the rear of the Trooper chassis? Or, are you only using the two/side bolt locations. Another question, how are you bending the angle iron after you notch it? And, of course, more photos, more photos!!

Hey thanks man, The bumper does bolt on in the middle of the frame, right now there 8 bolting locations, with grade 8 bolts. Theres places for four more bolts that I might add. I'm bending the angle, by cutting a notch then putting one end in my press(to hold it) then grab one end of the angle, and hold the press, and give it hell!! 1/4" is pretty hard to bend by hand. You just have to use alot of leverage. More picks to come, I'm taking them as i go.

Looks really nice. Do you think you should reinforce the areas where the shackle tabs will be?
Also, you might want to weld some plates to the bottom area to act as hi-lifting points just in case you ever need to lift a corner of your truck from the rear bumper. Like if you were on a trail that didn't allow you to lift from your sliders.
Looks great so far, great lines and departure angle. Big difference in the Troop with the tank up so high.

well the look of it hasn't changed much, but i got pretty much all of it welded. I still have to make some braces for behind the shackle tabs. The shackle tabs are 3/4" thick, That should be plenty strong. I have alotof grinding and finishing to do Heres a few pics. ![[Linked Image]](http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/4/web/424000-424999/424221_240_full.jpg)
