Hey thanks guy's!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> My eye is pretty good now. It sucks having somthing in your eye, and wearing an eye patch. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> I've got the bumper done with (for now). There will be a tire swing out later, and I'll add on the parts that wrap around the top sides. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. I used duplicolor bed liner on it, witch looks pretty good. It also covers up some stuff, like grind marks.
And i'll definatly say that $600 is just about right, theres tons of work that goes into it. But it was cool to make it, I've never realy made anything like this before.Anybody can build one, If I can do it, you can do it. I've only got about $100-$150 into this, But theres an awful lot of hours into it. I'll get some pics of the bender, its realy simple, theres a peace of 2x2" angle that pushes metal into another peace of angle. In one of the pics I used my high lift and it lifted the troop with no problem, The tires off the ground in the pic But its hard to see. The bumpers so high, I maxed out my hight lift quick.
