Need a Spot
SO if I understand you correctly the mounts that you use for the de-shackled are run though the whole frame and that same used for the deshackles is the pice that is bolted to the frame? If so how did you get the mount to go allwyas through the bumper? Torch or a certen cutting wheel? adn what type of welder did you use? A wire ged MIG or STIK welder?

I am Zippo on planetisuzoo.com fourms too. I Own a 92 trooper, auto hubs, 20%tint, cobra cb and magnetic anntenna. My firestik won't work for my set up at this time.

Body Damage is Cool
With this bumper I just butt welded on the shackle tabs.
My other bumpers are the ones that the mounts go all of the way through the bumper.
To make the square holes I first drill small holes, then jig saw out the rest Its alot of work, But I think its worth it...

This is the bumper with the mounts all of the way through

What kind of liner did you use on this again? I have Rhino on my bumpers and rockrails and it's horrible. I like yours because it would be easy to touch up. Rattle can, roll on, or spray gun?

I used the duplicolor stuff. Its not that great, I ended up grinding it all off and spray can'd it

I'm hearing that if you prep it right and use a spray gun the herculiner is not that bad. The good thing is touch up is easy.
