I know this is probably going to get a lot of flack, but I gotta ask...

SO has anybody thoght about the possibility of putting one of Jeeps new Turbo diesels in a pickup or 4runner. It is a 2.8L, and they claim 160hp and 280lb/ft, plus 22-27 mpg. I know that right now they are only avaliable in the liberty's, and come backed with a 5 speed auto, but I am sure it could be done.

I recently read about a SEMA wrangler that made use of a similar setup, march 05 issue for anyone interested.

I know that it is not a very cost effective swap since they are so new and all, but I just thought I would throw it out there and see what kind of respnse I garnered.

Please don't hate me guys <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> but when I read the numbers, I just couldn't help but wonder, I mean think about it 300lb/ft not sure what I would break, but it sure would be fun to find out <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
