Well I got the stuff I need to do it from Bud Built.

Bud Built Boomerang shackles and chevy leaf hangers with skidplates

Should I get some ford F250 shock towers too and get longer shocks for the front?
I was also thinking about the rear my shocks already mount like this in the rear / \ However the bottom part of the shock attaches to the bottom of the u-bolt plates. I was thinking of getting some new u-bolts and putting the bottom plate on top and using the existing shock mounts on the plates with longer shocks would that work?

Now the only thing I have to do is track down my rear 63" springs for a decent price.

Every time I've called bailey's on spring prices I walk away going

Don't get me wrong, they do awesome work there, and John Drinkwine is a great friend of mine

You'll need longer shocks to handdle the increased travel, and the Ford towers are easy and cheap.

A u-bolt flip is good in the back and necessary in the front (cause of the x-over steering). The shocks work better when like this | | but you can use a longer shock this way / \.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I got my 63" Chevy`s from a guy parting out an `89 1/2ton pickup. For $50 I had to take them off myself so i torched the mounts right off the frame. Worked out good because I modded the stock chevy mount with some plate steel that was lying around. For the rear I used the stock chevy shackle and just made my own mount out of angle iron.

For the front I used the Ford mounts an they work great with Rancho 5012s or 9012s.

It`s just roughed-in there for fitment. For my truck, the bottom of the mount needed to be flush with the top of the frame.

I used the factory shock mount on the axle for the lower.

For the rear I chose the same Rancho 5012s that I have up front but they are so long that I needed to fab a new upper mount. Even with a 2" BL, the lower shock mount is almost in the stock location and not on top of the axle where I really wanted it.

Yeah it looks very bootyfab but it works fine and was super cheap to make.

The hysteer I will be using is the sky-manufacturing setup. I bought it from www.roadessgear for $413 shipped.
It's hard to find these 63" springs for cheap I am shopping around but haven't found any for a good price yet rathe's claimed they didn't have any. I have to go up there and make sure tomorrow.

Shad, I know it's an hour away, but these're the prices around here:

Bailey's in Barre: $165.00 per side new

Bettis Autoland in Rochester: $120.00 per pair and they cut the shackles cuz they're lazy

Allen Auto in Chelsea: $100.00 for a pair of 98 4wd. Not sure if he'll charge less for the 2wd or older, you could probably dicker with him some.

That's all that I called, I was content driving 20 minutes to get that pair for 100 bucks. Don't steal it
I'm headed over there on saturday, I can ask him what his bottom price is for an older 2wd(then you can dicker from there hehe) if you want.
