I finally got my truck fixed. It has been broke down for the past 3 months needing a new clutch slave cyl. So now I was able to install my Christmas present to myself. New extended brake lines for the rear! These things are NICE. Actually, I had the garage install them while they put a new inspection sticker on it. The mechanic saw the new lines and was real impressed with the quality.
I did'nt do the front yet because of my plans to SAS in the near future. But will be installing the same lines up front at that time. My stock brake lines were getting dry rotted and needed to be just a little longer. I'm running 2" springs in the rear.
As far as I can tell. The brake pedal only feels about half as spongy as they did. I'm sure that after the front in installed, that the spongy feeling will completely be gone. Here are a few pics of the rear.
