I'm about ready to pull the V6 out of my 98 Amigo. The manual says to pull the transmission first (5spd manual trans).

What have other people been doing? Pull the trans or leave it in place? I would like to leave the trans in place, and hopefully suspend it from the ratchet strap I have wrapped around the trans and the frame. I need to be able to move the vehicle after I get the engine out. Limited work space...

as it is right now I need to go over it again to figure out what wires and hoses I missed, undo the engine mounts, seperate the engine from the trans and hopefully pull.

thanks,

Mike W
