I would have to bring you some Canadian Beer...

You can't bring beer into Utah. They have the most screwed up liquor laws in the U.S.
When they had the Olympics There the distillers could not even bring there own stock into the state.

Well on my way to becoming that eccentric old man in every town.(crazy as a s#@thouse rat) With a yard full of desireable old vehicles that tells you, Sorry they're not for sale..... Someday I'm going to fix them.

it wont be a problem... gotta go up there anyways. ill check for your stuff. as for the blue, ive only seen the gen I's in one color of blue and its it... actually i do alot of shipping to the great white north, primarily edmonton. i could probably ship it cheaper than your drive, considering the cost of gas... ESPECIALLY CANADA!!! it seem to me that the gen I's are getting rare in the yards because of the lack of demand. as for the beer, id be the first to agree about the fubar liquor laws here... ive been here a decade and still havnt got them all figured out . but, if you come down here the ticket is bogus... they cant legally interfere with interstate commerce, and if you pay your duty at the boarder its the same... beside its a gift , mmmmmmm canadian beer mmmmm . make out your wish list and mabey santa will bring all those sparkly new toy to you!

just a little fyi... was going to take my heads into temple machine. change of plans... after talking with craig at kenn garff mitsu service he knew temples well, and glossed them pretty good. but he recommended that i take them to gordon johnson machine in bountiful. talked with dude this morning, felt good about it... he seemed very much the straight shooter . rare in the wrenchin world. got quoted $225 for the job plus parts... he even has the gaskets on hand! when i talked to him about it, he seems very knowledgable on the stem/guide issue... turn around time is a couple of days. at least my monty will be able to kick the smoking habit .

didnt even see this until now... sorry i missed your post. had been working on the monty all weekend. as for there being anything good at the yard, that gold mine you found... they sent them all to the crusher . stoopid . next time your in town, pm me and ill take you up to a yard up north (if youve got the time) thats got got some 14 lwbs just ripe for the pickin' . they didnt have any swb monty's, but they did have 2 raiders... one of which was pretty well gone through.

I might be making a trip up there soon to visit friends/family, we should hit a trail. I'll post when the time is near. I grew up in Ogden so I'm familiar with the area. Actually bought the Monty in SLC.
