My hat is off to anyone who worked on these things for a living. Granted I don't have a lot of specialty tools and I'm working in the back yard, but this is rocket science compared to my '71 C10 (250 C.I.)This was my first experience with E.F.I.. The inside of the common chamber is bathed in grit and oil, the o-rings on the injectors are worn out. and whoever torqued the head bolts must have used a 6' cheater bar. I broke a 10MM 3/8 drive and bent a 10MM allen wrench and broke a head bolt that was obviously cracked to begin with. The next phase is to pull the engine and do a complete rebuild. I'm not in the least dismayed however, I feel I've bonded with my 'ZU and have taken (our) relationship to a new level. I'm feeling nearly as intimate with the 'ZU as I am with my '73 Harley (together 20 yrs.) I don't have a printer so if anyone can, e-mail me (73Shovelhead@optonline.net)a vacumn schematic I'd really appreciate it. Thanx, Madman <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

If I can't fix it, it ain't broke.
