My father has a 93 isuzu rodeo that came with a grille on it like you see over here (link below). But the main difference is that it's hooked in the regular place at the bottom AND in the middle of the grill it has two 1/2 inch steel peices running from the grille through the bumper right into the frame.

I (during my younger days, about 5 years ago) hit a dear at 85 miles per hour with the rodeo, and the only damage I had was a broken indicator lamp (which wasnt covered by the grille) and the grille was definitely pushed in to one side but still there was ZERO body damage.

The grille is actually still bent when I go home Ill take pictures to better illustrate what Im saying.

Now Im thinking of doing the same thing with this, mounting it and then drilling my bumper to get to the frame and have somebody weld solid steel from the bumper to the frame.

I mean if I can walk away from pegging a good 75 pound doe at 85MPH with no damage I think its a good precaution.
