Getting the Wheeling Fever
Got my flywheel back from the machine shop last week, and am ready to put 'er on the engine. I know I'm supposed to use Loctite on the bolts, but what kind? (i.e. red, blue, etc...)

Thanks!

Wheeler
i used blue and had no probs with it coming lose, there nice and tight and easier to get off. i have always use red only on things i didn't want to ever come off again.

i use plain old silly con. flexable, the bolt won't come out and you can remove it at any time. I have used the lock tight on things that I thought that I would never ever have to take back apart and it has hurt me.

i used blue loctite on my flywheel bolts, just for some extra insurance. not too wild about the idea of it turning into a 25lb shrapnel bomb, as unlikely as it might be.

im telling you guys the red stuff is not hard to remove. i feel safer knowing that i used it. i just use a short 1/2" drive breaker bar and make sure the engine wont turn over to remove it and im only 5'10" 130 lbs.
