The D44 out of my late 70's Cherokee quadratrac was 2 inches wider than the Zoo 12 bolt I now have in the rear (got the 12 bolt from Jerry Lemond) . Cherokee D44 was perfect. I bought the whole jeep with blown engine and 727 torqueflite for $200.

btw...The rear d44 on the cherokee Quadratec is offset.
