The question now is: where does it go (physically) in the circuit and where can I get one?

Right now, I've got the red and green wires coming from the controller, with clipped ends, that go nowhere. These must go to terminals on the sensing resistor, right?

I've also got the main power wire for the plugs, also clipped, coming from the relays. My guess is that I need a resistor that goes between the main power wire and the glow plug power supply wire, with terminals for the red and green wires.

Does Isuzu sell these resistors any more? Anyone have a spare they'd like to sell?
