The cruise system seems wholly separate from the (now removed) engine control computer, and the cable actuates the gas pedal, so I think making it work again should be fairly straightforward. I need to go through the vacuum system first and connect everything. I have already swapped shift towers from the old transmission to the new one so I could retain the neutral switch for the cruise.

The Trooper also has intermittent wipers, although they are not variable.

In other news, I calculated the mileage: 14.4 gallons of B20 biodiesel over 416 miles = 28.8 MPG. I will continue to do so over time and get a better picture. Once the weather improves, I will be using B80, so this may affect the mileage.

The range is also impressive, as 416 miles still left me with about 1/3 of a tank of fuel. Total range for one tank ought to be around 550 miles. I keep it around 60 on the freeway, which probably helps.
