could also be the mating between the upper radiator hose and the t-stat housing...mine's leaking there...just a little bit (like maybe a teaspoon a day), but it blows the steamified coolant onto the t-stat housing then, when the truck sits, it cools and wicks down the housing pas where the housing and water outlet pipe (or whatever the proper terms are) mate. thus, it could easily be mistaken for coming from that juncture.

in my case, the t-stat housing is just so pitted that even a brand new hose and cranked down screw-type clamp won't completely seal it.
