When I had my tires rotated and alignment done at the Firestone, they told me that my stock isuzu tapered lug nuts were not meant to go with the steelies I have on there now, and that I should buy some flat ended ones. This is the same shop in my other thread about the tire damage (the flat happened the next day).
Here are my rims. U.S. Wheel chrome star 16 inch. Sorry about the fuzziness.

The lug seat seems to be tapered to me, and the stock lugs seem to snug right in there. Is this dangerous? Is this even wrong? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Ive been using this combination for more than six months, and no problems so far.

They're whacked. You need the tapered nuts.
