Will the R150F transmission bolt up to the 22R-E? If so is anything required like swapping bellhousings etc?
Got a chance to score one complete with xfer case locally for a reasonably good price. Coming out of a 92' V6 4x4.... whats the going rate on good used setup like this?
Sorry for abstract post...under the weather and my brain isnt quite functioning correctly....quiet Mr.Bill!

You lazy SOB, in the FAQ parts section it clearly says that the R150F was only used behind the 3VZE V6 engine. You could probably make it work if you had a money garden to have adapters and input shafts made for it, but what is the point? Dont be such a looser!

Dang, ease up on us....we were just axing a question ya know.
Figured that if an R151F was used behind the 22R block with the turbo application then an R150F couldnt be much different. Maybe swapping a W56 bellhousing (like the spare one we have dummy) might allow for interfitmentacion. Oh well...I guess $200 for transmission and transfer is probably way high priced anyways...probably a million of these units locally available.
thanks for the reply though...

lol. Online schizophrenia Darin? Actually, I like talking to myself...best part is, no arguments (at least not yet), and all parties involved know what I am talking about.
I have been wondering about the R150F behind my 22RE as well. So is that a "No" Darin2?

Hey Darin(s)! If you go wheeling this weekend, one of you can drive the 4Runner while the other drives the truck. It's always nice to have help in case you get stuck.

Read the signature quote...its been with us for quite awhile now. LOL
I was just surprised that after almost an hour nobody strapped one on and offered any knowledge on my question. Was feeling a bit alienated, Darin felt like he was being discriminated against....whatever. Seriously though, we get along great but our conversations get boring real quick like. Seems like I always know what I am going to say in response to my questions.
There is truly an R150F with transfer case just up the road from my house for $200. Reason for asking the question is because the 4Runners transmission is howling like a dog in heat in 3rd and 5th gears. While I do have a spare W56 in the shed needing a bearing...just thought it would be cool to try something else while rebuilding the proper units. Know what I mean Vern?? But then again...engines are my strong area...maybe I'll just say F-it altogether and go buy another project vehicle. 89'-95' Xcab 4x4 baby! So I can love it, care for it, rip the bowels out of it, EB-ify it then beat the living shi-ite outta it. *pant pant pant*
Tummy is rumbling...gonna go sit in the room that has a sink but no computer and read a little. Darin's gotta go make big poo...umm yeah.
