Could be an alt or the battery is starting to get weak. I know had similar dimming with my truck right before I changed the battery.

Try putting a charger on your battery and see if it will take a full charge. Mine would not so I got a 1000 CCA battery and now everything stays bright all the time and I can run the radio at tailgate partyÆs all day get in it and it starts right up.
