The seal I am talking about is on the front of the tcase, not the tranny. I think that just pulling the driveshaft (front one) should allow me access to that seal. As for the blue/gray/red/orange/purple goo, I guess I will have to figure that out when I get there.

Any other input is appreciated from those experienced. And thanks for the info so far
