So today was the warmest day we've had in about a week (56 degrees) so we decided to explore some new spots we've heard about. While checking out one of the new (to us) trails we came to an opening, a playground of sorts, with all kinds of rocks and ledges to climb on. There was this one huge rock and right away my co-pilot said "dude I bet you can get your whole truck up on that." So, not being one to turn down a cool picture oppurtunity, I said "spot me" things were going well until I heard "WHAO WHOA WHOA" and quickly slammed on the brakes and the e'brake all the way, only to jump out and find my diff about 3 inches from disaster and by far one of the coolest pics I've made so far <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Jordan: yeah it was a camera phone, the good camera was in the back of the trooper and I wasnt about to give it any more reasons to roll off the end there or the other side, which was not a huge drop but enough that, had it gone, it would have def flopped right onto another huge jagged rock.. which I also hope to climb this weekend.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

Lee: the pucker factor came into play HUGELY <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> right about the time I felt her shift to that side knowing that there was nothin over there to hold me up.........

We didnt find this place till it was about to get dark so we are goin back for more this weeknd <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> if we can get some decent weather.. there are some really good step ups out there, ill def have the good camera within arms reach next time and hopefully some video.........

I have to say that I'm rather surprised that Doug (Bansil) didn't ask where this playground is located!

Which makes me wonder...
Douglas, have you and Lisa been holding out on me about some of your local 4-wheeling spots?
