Getting the Wheeling Fever

My computer is relentlessly telling me that PO773 (solenoid E circuit malfunction), has issues. My tech inspected the acessable solenoid during the last tranny pan drop, said everything is cool. The light will not stay off now, I think the sensor of this circuit shat the bed.
Does anyone know where, how, and if I should try to replace this sensor? I hate looking @ the CEL.
