Getting the Wheeling Fever
I would attribute this to a blown bulb, but I think it hasn't worked since I pulled the transmission a while ago.

When I lock my manual hubs, the "WHEEL LOCK" light comes on. When I actually shift into 4W high or 4W low, no other light comes on. Isn't there supposed to be a light for 4WD? I figure someting isn't hooked up right under the tranny, but I've tried swapping all the connections down there to no avail.

Thanks!

Yes, you have a wheel lock light and a light that shows all 4 wheels. Both of them are the green tinted squares on the console. The light is incredibly easy to get to. You can swap a bulb from a known working idiot light to test it out which is probably a ten minute job at most. That way, you can rule it out before digging in further.

I always hated those lights, they don't dim with the other dash lights.

Actually that's a damn good point. I was out for drive last night to test the new shocks and I was getting blinded by the "WHEEL LOCK" light. Maybe I shouldn't complain the other one isn't working! I might put some window tint over them all except the blinker lights once I get it all working.
