I just converted last week. I live in HOT Arizona, USA (summers average from 105 degrees to 115 degrees) and the conversion works great! Cool-down starts immediately after turning system to on. I'll put a thermo on it to actually see what the true temp is at the vent and repost. To help matters (beating the Damn Heat) I tinted all the windows (excluding the windshield) with dark limo tint!
