So, I should go 12-15 for touring the beach. Soft to semi-packed sand most of the time. Rare is there anything packed enough to keep out of 4x4 except for the ramps that approach the dunes from the roads, they are graveled to the dunes, then very soft all the way to the beak lines, then semi-packed. There aren't many places where I would get air on these beaches, and there are some well thoughtout "rules" for ORV use that don't permit "speeding", so I would most likely only be doing upwards to "perhaps" 30 at a long stretch that is semi-packed and few obsticles.

I have driven on these beaches for years, but never really considered doing it with the size tires that I am running on the stock rims. That's why the question regarding "how low do I go". I only want to keep some air in the tires without the tires coming off the rims.

Thank you for your input.
