It has been my experience that flowmasters do provide just what you discribed above!Or at least with V8s ive not had one on a V6.The flowsmasters IMO sound great untill they break in which doesnt take long then they have the farm truck sound like your talking about.I bought a Borla Pro muffler for my 3.5L Trooper and am going with the 2.25 pipe as that is what my Axiom had on it with the same engine and sounded real good!I got my Borla muffler brand new off ebay from a guy selling them for $80 which is about half the regular price and it has a million mile warranty!
