Body Damage is Cool
Bought auto_mon_Punkmaster's idler arm from his wrecked '94. It has a lube point built into the body. When I install the arm, anything I need to watch out for? Like making sure the arm is put on exactly like the old one to line up suspension components, etc. What about other components I should replace at the same time? Alignment needed after replacement?

None

Just bolt it on. There is almost no play in the mounting bolts in the frame rail, so a change in alignment specs is unlikly. An alignment will be your choise, if you think it is out, then yes. If the alignment was ok before the idler went, then it should be close again. If you are not sure, look at you tires....$60 for an alignment, $120 apiece for tires....
BTW if you get an alignment, the alignment tech can tell you if any other ft end components are loose.

Yeah, it was an alignment tech that told me the idler arm was bad. Showed me how much it moved. Also said the wheel bearings are bad. I think they're just loose. Good time to lube those & tighten them up.

Unless the idler arm was bent dont worry about redoing the alignment. None of the angles should change on you unless the last time you went in for an alignment it was bent and they set the toe a little funky to accommodate the broken part.
