Kewl, thanks DC, I am eagerly awaiting the results, as I have viewed all the available pics of the hardware of the kit and want to know what the options/requirements are for the rear coil-sprung 'Sports, as mine is a 2000.
Used to have a custom 2000 Montero Sport - Front & Rear bumpers, Sliders, Warn m8000, 33/1050/15 BFG MT's
Now own a 1998 Toy 4Runner 3.4 Limited stock

OK.. just got word from the shipping people in long beach that it is in tomorrow. Should clear customs in 2-3 days. Man.. there are so many things you neeed to do when you ship things from over seas. Not to mention all the Customs, and duty fees.. .

For about $90, they take care of all the paperwork and bond. You just pick up the box! PM me if you need a link to a list of approved forwarding agents... Powell

I have a forwarder. It's costing about $90 or so. But all the other stuff I have to do. Ie.. "Customs power of attorney" doc, lading doc's and not to mention all the fees. I'm already $300-$400 in customs fees.
Well, at least i'll have a lift.

Ya, tell me about it. Right now it's being held by customs for and "X-Ray scan" . Who knew what trouble it takes to get parts over here. I guess we need a distributor here to make things alot cheaper and faster. The only thing is I'm not sure if it's dot legal? probaly not.

Make sure you get that out of Customs within 5 days. Otherwise, they will charge you a per day storage fee for holding the item when you finally get to pick it up.
That bites about the 3-400 in Customs fees. The HTS or "Harmonized Tariff System" is a joke. I don't know where they get the "harmony" part of it. I just imported over $5k worth of VOIP hardware for resale from Shanghai and I paid $0 in Customs fees. Go figure.
