Ok.. a little update.

Well the front end is droped. The rear and front third members go to the gear shop for the front arb and R&P tommorrow. Sorry no pics yet. I'm was not able to stop by today and the shop guys where a alittle busy and forgot to take pics. But from what I understand is that there was alot of cussing and banging going on today. I guess they are seeing what years of trails will do to the undercarriage. " looks like somebody went underneath with a sledge hammer and hit every piece of metal there was" 4x4ing is new to them.. Their expertise is in Baja/ desert racing.
Getting off the old banged up parts and getting the new ones to fit sounded like fun. On the lighter side.. there are some yellow parts on the front end.
I'll try to get them to take pics tommorrow.

Also, they took a closer look at the gas tank and it has a really bad crease in it were it can bust open.. On that note, I just ordered a used one from M&S and should be here by next week. I guees that's why I was short 3 gallons from stock.. Will the money pit ever end??

*bartek. THe fron end will fit but you will have to get springs and extend the trailing arms for the rear. At least the most intricit parts fit.

Costly news but good in a way.
With the front drive system at the gear shop for the arb/gear install, they found some problems. I guess the bearing seals are bad and with all the water fording i'v done, it seized one of the bearings. So I have change the bearings and seals along with the install.. $$

Well at least I didn't find out on the trail. But just unexpected expenses.

As for the lift install, It's been going pretty good. They had to do a little modding on some parts. They start on the rear tomorrow and should get the front back from the gear shop.

I'll keep you guys updated..

sorry again no pics yet..

It should be an easy thing for you to do, just drop it down and swap the old stuff out of the old tank into the new one?

I have actually not done it on the monty though, but many other cars, it's not hard. Hope fully some other guys might have monty specific tips for you.
