big sigh.........................

HD torsion bars wont give you any more lift than a stock crank
the reason no body makes a lift is:
*torsion bar mounts to the lower suspension arm
*welded rear torsion bar mounts
*very few people will buy them

every time someone asks this question i think, sure, you can run 40" tires now, but what about gears? I'd much much rather have deeper gears than some lift.
I have been thinking over a lift in my head. A 6" bracket lift that moves the front axle about 1.5-2" forward and a spring over rear. As long as I keep the stock geometry, it cant be any worse building an IFS lift than a SAS.
JMO
It would consttute a torsion bar drop(yeah i know) and droped steering box/idler/sway bar and the bracket drop would drop both upper and lowers with front and rear frame bracing

I also thought about custom stock geometry arms with either torsion bar mounts or a coil mount

blah blah blah you probably wont be able to get a lift, did i mention it cost $2000?
