22RE - timing chain/head gasket - please help me finish.
Can anyone point me to photos of the bracket configuration of the power steering pump/alternator ? I've got bolts and brackets, but it's been over a month since I started, and I can't recall how they fit together.
(Engnbldr's kits have worked very well for me on this job.)

Thanks,
Ed

You'll find that documented on my timing chain page:

Is that an aftermarket head? The casting looks different in the area around the front half moon seal and hook.

Umm, I don't think that's his engine. It's a pic linked from 4Crawlers site showing the "mystery bracket" in green.

Nope, not mine. Someone posted that picture a year or so ago and it works good to show the p/s and alt. brackets, so I saved it.

I don't have the stock p/s anymore, so a picture of mine would not be as useful:

Someone had suggested that I add something like that to the T/C page since they were having trouble with that aspect of the reassembly.

I copied that motor pic off a post at the t4x4pickup board a couple of years ago because it was the best one I could find that showed the location of that PS bracket. I just photoshopped it green for that other thread; thankfully it wasn't really painted that color LOL. It is a sweet lookin motor though, wish I could remember whose it was!
