there is LOTS that i want to hear that the stock system couldnt provide. take a listen to pink floyd dark side of the moon in my jeep, and then listen to it in a jeep wrangler with the factory stereo and you will know what im talking about. in the beggining with a nic stereo setup you can hear him talking in the background saying he is not crazy and stuff... alsoa stock system has no where near the bass capabilities that a good setup has.

im not saying the bass has to be so loud that it makes it so you cannot hear anythign else.. but i do like loud and clean sounding music... which you can only get when you amp everyspeaker. when you amp the front speakers you need a larger amp for the sub to make it worthwhile (so you can still hear it).

let me just say i am not the loudest guy in my town, nor do i want or try to be.. BUT i do like to have agood quality sounding system.. something that i can turn up LOUD and have it not distort.

and to those guys who rattle all cars next to you.. its time to grow up. i do NOT play my system like that, nor does ANYONE that i work with. we all have nice stereos but we are all resonable with them. ALSO, as in all my previous cars, the jeep will be getting dynamatted. this greatly reduces noise inside and out and keeps the jeep sound tight.

so yes that amp is a lot.. but i like music loud. and no i do not play it with my windows down next to other people.
once you sit in a car with a nice sounding system, not just bass.. but nice all around, you will never want to go back. ive beend riving for the last 5 months without a high quality system and im going through withdrawals.

if you were a dentist, coudl you justify not having nice teeth? or an electrician living in a home with wiring that pops the breaker everytime you turn on the light and the heater? he woudl fix it cuase its his profession.. same way with me and stereos.
