has anyone ever given any thought to trying to make the trooper a little more aerodyanmic in the front end?I mean some way to alter the boxy front end a little , and maybe improve performance with less drag , and even increase fuel economy just a little as your not pushing as much air.

I was thinking with a little work on the front end , there has to be a way to make some kind of nose spoiler for the trooper , maybe a little creativity with fiberglass or some such.

There isn't a whole lot you are going to accomplish with what you have to work with. Basically you are going to have to somehow reduce cross-sectional area, but you can only accomplish that by extending the nose forward, but at that point you are losing any off-road capability. Potentially you could fashion an air dam which would smooth the flow under the front bumper area and around the front suspension and wheels, but again, it will be counter-productive in terms of off-road capability.

...put a sunroof in the newly diagonal rear roof section...

bam, ugly-ass POS with 1% better aerodynamics.

I agree on not messing with the look of the first gen.

Doing anything to the general profile only takes away from the great look of a 1st gen.
