Well, the sputtering only takes place at initial startup, and almost stalls the engine. Tap to the accelerator takes care of it, after which the engine runs like a top.

It has only happened after this one tank of gas plus additives, so either it's knocking stuff off, the gas was bad, or the combo is no good.

I think I'll take your advice on the oil. I have a 1500-mile roadtrip coming up in two weeks, and the oil that's there just finished a 600-mile trip.
