Yeah, after looking at it more I think I still have the same questions. I'm trying to avoid spending 2 grand on a fuel injection kit when I can spend less on just swappin' an already fuel injected engine.
One thing I saw from most comments in the articles is that people are putting a carb back on the 4.0 head. If they put on a fuel injection system, it looks like they're buying an aftermarket package. Since this is what I'm trying to avoid, I'm thinking that using the fuel rail, computer, and other parts from the donor 4.0 will work just as well.
Maybe I'm better off swappin engines instead of just the heads... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

You obvioulsy did not go to www.cjoffroad.com. They have a forum completely dedicated to swapping in the 4.0L engine AND doing 4.0 head swaps and using the fuel injection off of a 4.0L motor.

I, and several other people on cjoffroad, have completed a 4.0L engine and AW4 drivetrain swap into a CJ. I have several threads on there with detailed pictures of how the swap went, the adapter from Novak, blah ble blah, ble blah.

Do your research. Maybe you just want to think that your idea is the most outrageous and unique but trust me, it has been done before several times and there are places and people that you could get more info than you can read in one day on it.

READ AND SEARCH!!!!!!!
