I tried some of that stuff (pictured and mentioned on the web page I posted earlier). It worked but I found it was a lot of work to get the goo off my '85 hood stripes. It is also a thin liquid so on a vertical surface you won't be able to wet down the surface, only soak a rag and use that. I found the citrus paint stripper I ended up using worked very well. Pretty mush wipe it on wipe it off, then wipe off the residue with a rag soaked in the 3M remover. The Citrus-Strip is a poor paint remover, I tried it once for some old paint and it was worthless. As such, it did not quickly attack the body paint as long as you got it on and off fast.
