alright, new here, and got one heck of a major problem for you guys.

right now im driving a 94 jeep wrangler 6cyl, 5spd and im about 90% certain the fuel pump is starting to take a permanent vacation on me. when i first got the jeep, i would lose the top end(about 4k up) after about 1.5-2.5 hours of driving. pull over, shut the jeep down, wait 5 mins or so, start it back up and be good for another couple hours. well, the other day i lost from 3k-3.5k up. now, normally i would only start losing RPM's when the engine was warm. but today, when i was pulling out of the dorms, the engine was about as cold as it could be, and i can only use up to about 2k. it just kinda bucks if i try to go over 2k. so am i crazy or is the fuel pump really leavin me?

ive had the jeep for about 2 weeks or so now. before i got it, the parents had the exhuast manifold replaced b/c it was cracked, and the cat. replaced cause it was clogged. they also changed the fluids. i think they replaced the o2 sensor also, but im not 100% positive about that.

hopefully, you guys can help me get this fixed soon. im heading home in about 3 weeks and dont want to make the entire 1100 mile journey at 50 mph.
