Here's a shot of my 93 Rodeo Roof Rack. http://www.4x4wire.com/cgi-bin/gall...c_johnson.jpg&img=12&tt=
ALthough you can't tell from this picture it has the ability to carry 2 bicycles and a kayack on top and still get a lot of stuff up in the rack. (This was built before the Motorhome phase of my life)(But then modified after we got the Coach, so I could flat tow it.)
If you go look at the bargin bins at Virgin Records you'll see my rack. Cause that's where I got it. Seems they decided to toss them out for a new design. Then some smart exec decided not to toss them all. I got one of the few they discarded. Really simple design and easy to duplicate.
I used 4 Yakama cross bars for mine to hold it up, so I have an estimated 400lb capacity.
Beside the bikes and Kayack mounts, it has a shovel and axe mounted up there. Oh, and almost forgot, the forward driving lights are mounted so they can rotate down to fit the truck in a normal garage. Very important when you raise it as far as I did. I mounted some back up flood lights and some brake lights for towing behind the motorhome also. It takes 2 people or a big tree limb and winch to mount it. I know cause I had to take it off when I last painted the Rodeo.

And lastly, since you like to beach camp, and if your interested, I can explain how to hang a shower with hot water off the rack. It works really well. The ladies love being able to wash the sand off and get smelling good when facilities are a long way off. All in private. When I was single my girl friend loved useing that shower. Fashion Models have this thing about appearance!!!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
I have a lot of pictures but it may take a while to dig them up. So if your interested, later this week I'll look for them.
