It is somewhat traditional for 4x4Wire moderators to roll into camp by dark of night, then tip the seats back and sleep until someone hammers on their window come dawn. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" /> I think I may have started that trend the first year, but Perosi truly perfected it! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

BTW, unbelievably good, unbelievable cheap news at this end. I have been playing registration games and skirting smog laws for mots of this century with respect to my Amigo, and I full expected to be held accountable for this when I went into the Department of Motor Vehicles to get Uzi OK-ed for the street. Here's how it went down:
* I slid my VIN across the wasit-high counter
* They slid back a bill for $144
* I blinked stupidly and nearly wet myself with excitement
* I maintained a poker face (above the counter)
* I scribbled out a check just as fast as I could
* They took my check and gave me paperwork, including a temporary tag (good through July 31!)
* I carefully read the paper, verified that I was good, and headed for the door
* I exited and did my best endzone dance while hooting unintelligbly <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

For reference, my past abuse of the system should have merited me a cold stare, a haughty laugh, a four-figure aggregate penalty and fee bill, and *perhaps* a one-day, daylight hours transport tag.

Miracles can happen. I've SEEN it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
