I think you might be in the ballpark with that price, but I would see how low you could get it down. I own a 1990 FJ62 that I bought with 158K on it and it needed no work. Paid $6000 for it but consider it a pretty good deal. You also want to check for rust around the wheel wells, rocker panels and tailgate, as these are prime areas for rust on these trucks. I think most people probably get about 12-15 mpg out of their cruisers. Good luck.


Yep, for a well taken care of the price is in the ballpark. Depending on local market, you may be able to negotiate it down some. Definitely check the wells (especially the rear) rockers, and tailgate. I'm buying a 60 from Ohio for significantly less, but she's got cancer.
