I'd see what you can do about re-routing the e-brake cable to make it work. If you're able to do an engine, tranny, and dash swap... I have full faith in your ability to make the e-brake work out for you.

The rear of the Amigo is an Isuzu 12 bolt and will have 4.56 gearing. The Rodoes have rear D44 and IIRC, did not come with 4.56 gears. That means swapping in a Rodeo rear axle is going to require the purchase and set-up of new gears out back.
