Well here is my update on my project
I finally got a hold of an engine crane and took the engine out!
a better look of the damage of the crank
crankcase is out and fixed

Amigo's engine is comming out!
Well I started to do most of the swap, but after thinking about what Iæm going to do with all the wiring, I decided to swap the dash board from the 01 rodeo to the 92 amigo, I knew that it would put me behind for a while, but I just didnÆt want to cut any wires and rewire the whole thing again. This way itÆll give me a bigger chance for the engine to start with less problems.
9/06/05 Dashboard from the amigo is gone.
I didnÆt want to cut off anything so instead I used a little technique that I saw on TV, instead of cutting you drill on every dot that you see that is attaching the two pieces together it's very hard to see the dots unless you look closely, and after you drill on the dots the piece will come off very easily.
9/12/05 I took the mounts for the steering wheel and the mounts for the dashboard
9/14/05 Then I covered the holes
9/14/05 I welded the new mounts from the rodeo onto the amigo
10/12/05 Finally I got the wire harness on the amigo and the dashboard is in place!

10/18/05 It's the first day that I put the new eng. on the amigo to test how much I have to modify the motor mounts and to see how well its going to fit.
So what I did is I took the eng mounts from the 2.6 and mounted them on the 3.2 and they happened to fit with very very little modification. So here is a pic of the 3.2 sitting on the amigo .

Now here is where the big problems start, well mounts are sitting where their suppose to. but if you notice there is a big gap betwen the fire wall and the eng. and there is almost no room for the fan and radiator. but I looked underneath and everything is clear.
I still have to see how the tranny is going to fit, what I'm thinking is that the tranny is going to fit just fine and im going to modified new motor mounts closer to the fire wall. if not I can always keep the amigos radiator and put an electric fan
so I need help so if you have any ideas, I'll be happy to hear them.
