I've had great luck with BFG long trails and ATs, but if you want something strong, I'd look for one of the commercial marketed tires.

Dunlop's Radial Rover R/T looks to have an aggressive tread and will last well. Plus Dunlops are pretty cheap.

I would say to go 235/75, almost no power difference, easy to find, and cheap.
