So I was driving down the road yesterday and the front left wheel locked up @ about 50mph. After I had it towed home I took the hub off and found what I expected to find... moisture and rust. Anyway, my question is, I've got the two nut and washer off so if it was a normal wheel bearing job, the outer bearing and/or rotor would slide off at this point. I'm assuming that the wheel bearing has somewhat welded itself to the spindle, and I am wondering if anyone has any ideas of how to get the wheel bearing off the spindle? Or am I going to have to go more in depth into the front end? Let me know. Thanks.
