Didn't realize there was such a thing as R12 substitute. Thot you had to replace with R12 or retrofit. Anyways, I am going the substitute route. Only need it for this summer. Hopefully the leak isn't so bad that it leaks out fast. Geeez, compressor hasn't been run for a couple of years. Hope it's not froze...I took the belt off when I couldn't use A/C.
