I had planned to do this same thing until I got distracted on diesel engines and biomass fuels.

2 door droptop
- Cut at window line on sides
- Cut just below window and above locking mechanism on tailgate
- Smooth with grinder and weld diamondplate trim all the way around.
- Take it to a good welding shop and have a roll cage installed by someone who knows what they are doing.
- Take it to a boat upholstery shop and have a top made with snaps and zip out windows all the way around.

- Alternative to full top - cut drains and herculine the interior. Install a bikini top!
