It allows you to in effect, disconnect your front antisway bar w/out having to remove it. By breaking the bar in the middle (what the articulator does) you do not have to disconnect it from the ends & nothing can get hung up or bang around (would if you disconnected it at the ends).

By disconnecting the sway bar it allows your rig's front suspension to articulate more. By doing so, you have more suspension travel which means your wheels stay on the ground more when you're off road. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
