Body Damage is Cool
Just to clarify a few things :-
Yes shipping is the same cost whether it's just the base unit on it's own or the base unit with the remote kit.
The Articulator was originally designed for a Pajero but will work on other applications providing there is a straight section of swaybar between the 2 mounts and enough room to mount it.
We are 2 guys with regular jobs who do this stuff in our spare time (which isn't much these days). We will have a website soon and are working on detailed installation instructions with pics.
Eddy attached is a pic of the base unit with manual locking pin the air ram can be retrofitted at a later date if so desired.
We did look at a spring loaded locking pin but are worried about mud & stuff eventually caking it up and jamming the spring.

Thanks, Frank. Not criticising your design. It's better than my welded in splines and sliding sleeve idea. Are you dimple-drilling the bar for the set screws? Might make for a better bite on the bar. I like the "no welding" approach.

I like some spring loading for dis&re-engagement purposes. it lets you pull the pin or set the pin while rocking the truck (hand rocking or driving swervies) so there's no binding. I imagine the air ram will do the same, but I don't have a compressor on board and don't plan on one. I suspect you could sucessfully use the air ram with only canned air that you recharge periodically, too....

Nice piece of work, guys.
